All was well, couldn't ask for anything more.

Our stay was quite unremarkable. Though it was close to the airport, there was nothing else within walking distance of the hotel other than the ocean. We had to rely on taxis or a rental car to go anywhere. While the service was friendly, the room was small, and the bathroom had basic amenities. We did enjoy breakfast there, but the lack of view or on-site facilities meant we spent most of our time elsewhere.

The noise from the nearby airport was disruptive to our stay.

The rooms are well-appointed, and I really enjoyed having a private patio. The staff, headed by Dan the owner, were wonderful and made sure all of my needs were taken care of. The hotel is also within walking distance of the ocean, which was a plus. I would highly recommend Casita de Maya for a relaxing stay in Cozumel.

Over Thanksgiving, we decided to take a break from the cold weather and went to Mexico. The hotel we stayed in was perfect for what we wanted. The staff was lovely and offered complimentary drinks on arrival which was a nice touch. The location was ideal too, it was close to the airport and right by the beach. We enjoyed the beach walk that was close to the hotel and the beautiful views of the ocean.
